another option for neb sterilization?

Since you are on colistin have you thought of switching to the eflow? I am sure you probably know that it is available through Foundation Care Pharmacy (www.foundcare.com) for free when you get your inhaled antibiotic through them. You can get all your other drugs elsewhere if you wish. You will also receive for free individually prepared sterile HS vials and SourceCf vitamins with every shipment. How long have you had your Ultra II? I just got my free (under warranty) replacement for my Ultra that had given out in less than 2 years, (and I didn't realize it until I got my Trek, and it was much faster...).

I would go ahead and dig out the old one, and see what happens, try the other new neb and see what happens with it, change your filter if you haven't already done that, make sure there isn't anything caught on the fan/in the fan vents, try plugging it in somewhere else? I dunno...and then give Pari a call or an email directly, and see what they say. If you email them, be sure to send them your model and serial #, and they should get back to you pretty quickly- I was really pleased with the service I got.

Have you gone ahead and tried the vinegar thing with the LC+ cups, and tried to see if it's the same afterwards? The water softener will help, but I don't think that it takes out all the minerals (sorry, just brainstorming here, having recently experienced a similar frustration). Hmm, here's a stupid question- are you sure you have the Sprint (The new one was the sprint, right <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> ) put together correctly? I seem to remember someone advising me that it could be easy to not get it together the right way, but then again, that is me relying on my memory- lol).

the ii's suck. I had to replace mine (under warantee) in the first 6 mo. Now 6mo's later...it's getting loud. they just don't make them like they used to.
