If you have $9.99 to spare and don't think it is too girlie, try this Pilates video:

I've always been on the thin side but after having three kids in less than four years, my belly was a disaster. In the morning, it would be flattish; but as soon as I ate a decent meal, it popped out farther than my 18wk pg belly pics...forget the stretch marks or muscle separation--I could make my fingertips disappear up to the second knuckle when I clenched my muscles.
Sooooo my attempts at mucus clearance through exercise led me to the obvious...walking/jogging, and also pilates.
Holy abs workout, Batman! I still have the stretch marks, but they are stretched over pure muscle. The video is hard. I still cannot do it all even though I have been doing it about 1x a week since July. I guess I need to do it more, but I have been pleased with my ability to eat a huge meal and keep it "in."
I've tried to get my husband to do the DVD and he says it is just too hard, but it is not a flexibility work-out.
Give it a try--if you dare ;-)
