When Emily needs Bandaids on her fingers we see this in an especially bad way, since moisture gets trapped in the Bandaids so easily and can keep her fingers damp for extended times, even with frequent changing... like mentioned above once they come off her fingers will be white, wrinkly and peely for days sometimes after the Bandaid comes off! Does anyone else ever see this?
(FWIW, I don't have cf myself (am a carrier)& have this problem as well when I soak in the tub, swim or have my hands in dishwater too long and my feet especially will be white and will peel for a little while when I am done. It is NOT to the point of being painful though. 'You look like a prune' was the line my mom would use for getting me out of the tub when I was little. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> )
