i think they are all pretty noisy. i didn't think the proneb was particularly quiet. Amy is right....the e-flow rocks and there is NO noise. If you can find a clinic that will get on board with all meds and work it out with your insurance to cover it, that is the wave of the future and the e-flow is silent compared to the compressors we have now.

We have both the pari proneb ultra II and the devilbiss. I've had to replace the devilbiss twice -- after about 2 years started getting louder, fan would stick. Fortunately they have a 5 year warranty, but I have to have the DME send it in for me and then have to wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement.

We used the Pari and then the e-flow.

I had so much trouble with the e-flow. It leaked and how did you guys sterilize them? We were told not to put the phalange in alcohol because it eroded and caused leaking. And we couldn't boil or microwave it. We still have the e-flow here, so if there are better ways to sterilize, please let me know!

I just ordered the Devilbiss since the TOBI website said it was the one they used in the clinical trials....

I'm not very experienced and am still learning, so any additional insight would be great!

eFlow..*salivates* <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

one of those battery operated ultrasound deals, huh?

Never could get one (an eFlow), instead I settled with an OMRON compressor..noisy (nearly have to put the tv volume ALL the way up to hear it) but with only 15 min a day for me, it'll do..its probably the average time for athmatics to do their meds, anyway.

Sometimes I wonder if my airbrush compressor would compare with my OMRON, though LMAO <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
