Hi there! You've gotten a bunch of advice here. I just want to write and tell you to congratulate yourself on continuing to breastfeed your baby and supplement. It probably seems like you spend all your time and energy feeding this baby...and you are. I remember these days so well because it seemed like that was my entire life - struggling to feed my baby.
Like your daughter, mine was also born with meconium ileus. After 15 days in NICU I was thrilled to get her home and attempt to breastfeed. We breastfed for 13 months and I pumped 2 bottles daily, 2 oz. each, and added a protein powder called "Promod" to feed her. Usually her Dad would give these bottles, and it was a nice time for bonding...when she took them and then didn't subsequently throw them up!
So hang there, 'cause this part will get easier in some ways. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Your life will go on to include something other then just feeding your baby. I hope she continues to be healthy and well.
