Probiotics Probiotics Probiotics....
This may be the ticket. Putting the good bacteria back in her gut. I can tell when the boys have not had there probiotics and they absolutely love them. They both take the chewable ones and beg for them every morning and night. They make a powdered kind that you can add into whatever you want. My recommendation, if you do want to try it...is make sure you get it from a reputable source and make sure a serving has at least 3 billion live cultures.
I have also heard that Taurine really helps with malnutrition and they make that in a powder form. That is my next thing to try with the boys.
The docs have finally gotten on board with probiotics, just in the past months, but anything natural beyond that is not really supported, no matter the positive evidence that is discovered.
Blessings,
Missa

Hi,

I dont have anything to add just want to offer my support.. I breast fed my younger 2 sons (it wasnt popular w/ my 1st 2 sons ) I loved every minute.

It was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.. None of my children have c/f (i do) so i dont know the challenges w/ breast-feeding a CFer ,but as many have said the are organizations that are very helpful w/ all types of situations..

I hope you can work it out.. Take care and God Bless.. joni

I am not sure what to tell you but I BF my son until he was 2 years old and I plan to do the same with my daughter. The information you are getting from your CF Clinic is opposite to what I was getting. Personally if I were you I would just tell the clinic that you gave the fortified bottle when in fact you didn't. How are they going to know the difference. To me it sounds like you are doing nothing wrong.

You can just start solids early at 4 months or so. Personally I found it a lot easier to feed the baby solids.
