I think what you will find is those people that did not take their enzymes regularly will be on the shorter side as they will have malabsorption and thus not all the nutrients etc... needed to grow to their potential. I definitely feel I should have been taller but I didn't take me enzymes faithfully as a teenager. </end quote></div>

That sounds right, but I ALWAYS took my enzymes faithfully, the problem was that we had a rather difficult time figuring out the correct dosage to administer. My parents aren't exactly basketball players, as they are fairly short, but I think my malabsorbtion robbed me of quite a few inches. When I was in high school, I was really self-conscious about my height, but now I could care less, as I have other priorities.

A funny incident happened on my first day of my freshman year. I was walking to school, and a senior with a beard, told me that the elementary school is down the road, (he got a few laughs) needless to say he was shorter than I was. I found that quite ironic, not to mention comical, and showcased his inherent stupidity.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I'm 5'8", but my brother is the same height and he doesn't have CF.

In fact all of my cousins on both sides are at or near my height, yet i'm the only one with CF. So I don't think CF really effects height.

At first I thought because I was so much shorter than my two brothers, CF had a direct effect on my height. But, by reaching 177 cm and it not being too far from my two younger brothers, I think the CF had some influnce on my growth and I just might have sprouted a little late and maybe when I really needed the nutrients etc. for that growth spurt, it wasn't there.
I don't think I was this tall about 16 years or so ago, and I think I still had some growing to do.
Though I don't think I was tall enough for basketball, I might've been elegible for football. I enjoyed Hockey and think that my height fit that sport quite well, too.
I had digestive issues whether I took my enzymes or not, and I believe a lot had to do with the choice in my diet. I think it just took me more food and enzymes to keep my growth at a constant rate.
I'm actually amongst the average height of the Japanese, however, my naturally blondish hair will have me picked out in a crowd in an instant.
I also think for the Martial Arts, a lot of martial arts experts, like Chuck Norris, aren't that tall, either. Steven Seagal is one exception, tho <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I didn't need enzymes as a kid and wasn't dxd with CF until a year ago. My dad is 6'4" and my mom about 5'6". I'm 5'9". My brothers are 6'2" and 6'1". I was very slender until my 20's. Now I'm overweight and struggling to loose some!
