I now go to the Adult clinic at Vanderbuilt. I used to be at the clinic in Louisville but moved down to Ft. Campbell and Nashville is the closet clinic and they have an adult clinic.

I go to the Children's Hospital of Illinois at OSF (it's the adult clinic though). It is about a 15-20 minute drive for me. As far as I know, it's the only clinic around. There may be one up by Chicago, but I'm not sure. I've been going to this clinic since I was diagnosed at age 3-4. There have been several moves and many staffing changes over the years, but I like it. I'm fortunate that there is a clinic close by. I really feel for those who have to travel for hours to get to their clinic.

My son Craig goes to Inverclyde Royal Hospital in Greenock, a 15 min drive. Or to Paisley Royal Alexandria which is 30 min drive in the other direction. I attend Gartnaval in Glasgow, just twice a year till they fathom things out for me. Glasgow is 30 miles away from us.

hey i go to Cook Childrens Hospitol in Fort Worth Tx. Been going there since i was diagnosed at 14 so two years now. Great drs. record keeping is a little slipshot though, and its all a little juvenille but its a childrens hospitol so i can't complain, other than that its great, its about an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic. which means its nearly always an hour and a half because traffic in dallas is horrible.

I don't believe I've already answered this, which is odd. But here's me. I go to Yale adult CF clinic now (Connecticut), though I went to Yale Children's for almost 22 years. It's about 45 minutes from my house.

There's one other CF center in the state, about the same length of drive away and we chose Yale for this reason: When I was born, I had meconium ileus. After 2 days came and went, I still hadn't gotten rid of my first bowel movement. The doctor that had been working with us came into my mom's room, said "We may have waited too long!" and then rushed me out of that hospital. That was a tiny crappy hospital that I hate, and they rushed me to Yale. Why they took me there, I don't know (maybe because it's a big hospital, known for some specialties, etc). But because I started there, I stayed there. So that's where I still go.
