You guys are great! I'm diligently taking notes! Keep 'em coming!! This is so essential b/c it's so much more intimate coming from us rather than a pamphlet deciding for us. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Like a poster said, there is no cure. We are still losing way too many good people to the disease. I'll also add that there are some folks that donate just to donate, and tend to pick the charities that are the most convenient or most well-covered by press. CF still seems not to be in the same league as, say, breast cancer in that regard, and that's frustrating. The college gymnastics team I follow, Pitt, does a "Think Pink" meet every year to raise awareness for breast cancer, which indeed is still important, but hey---purple looks just as pretty on girls, no? CF is an issue that needs to get more upfront like this. I'll be buying a Cure Cystic Fibrosis tee from cafepress and wearing it to the meet.
