Come on now Faust, you're not an ***** (although given your choice of name I guess we could all assume you have a pact with the Devil?). You just happen to have an unfair prejudice against lemmings, pickles, and the women who love them <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
As for your comments on relationships: the gender divide aside (I completely disagree that women are more judgmental in choosing a mate, I think perhaps we just look for different things), obviously we all make judgments when choosing who to date. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant that it's not worth judging OTHER people for the choices they make, no matter how stupid or dangerous they may seem to us. And by the way, congrats on your long term relationship with a special girl.
My point was certainly not to devalue anything that's already been said, just that I happen to have really enjoyed the article. I've certainly never gone looking for a relationship with another CFer, but I think the point of wanting to be close to someone who can truly understand some of the more difficult experiences of living with CF is a good one. And I just love that she had the guts to write about it in the New York Times.
