Thank you all for sharing your experience - since I have joined the CF community I have been impressed that so many have such good knowledge about health care issues. It is currently recommended not to take Depo Provera for more than two years because it can interfere with bone density, an added concern for women with CF - seems the risk is compounded and that other methods could be considered first. I am hearing from a lot of you that heavy bleeding and cramping with periods is a problem. I wonder if that is related to CF? ah, one question leads to another ..........I appreciate everyone's help.
