Laura, I had the pleasure of meeting you and seeing you speak at National Jewish last year (or the year before?!) at the women's only education night. I had a really great time, it felt wonderful being in a room with all other CF women, and I got so much information from you.
My experience with BC has been pretty limited. I took the pill for several years but still had inconsistent menstruation.
I am currently taking Nuvaring and love it. I have very light cycles, know exactly what day each month and pretty exact time (first Wednesday, between around 10am and 2pm) I will start my cycle. My only complaint is that I have thicker, more frequent discharge since starting the Nuvaring.

As an afterthought, one antibiotic I know for sure that interferes with oral contraceptives is tetracycline. Don't know a complete list, though.

I never had any problem with the pill.
I didn't like depo-provera (headahces and acne) or the nuva ring - it fell out during sex once and my husband could feel it in there)
Right now we use FAM.
None if my BC methods have really been affteced by my CF.
