I guess my husband is going to ask his mother on Wednesday if she KNOWS if someone isn't feeling well and is going to show up. Because there are a few older relatives with ongoing health issues, possible infections he's had to have a few "come to jesus meetings" with his mom.
The intent has never been to put her in a position where she has to tell someone NOT to come, but to let US know if someone has some health issues, so we can plan ahead. She's a retired RN/nursing instructor who used to work on a TB ward years ago and she of all people should KNOW the difference between "just a cold" and a barking bronchial productive cough.
Add to that a cousin with a couple demon children whom we always have to keep an eye on -- they HIT and play mean games of hide and go seek --- I may start drinking again. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
