If they are already at phase III, haven't they completed the safety phase already? Doubt there needs to be two yrs of safety studies after the efficacy study has been done.

If they have never tested this on <75% ers then how would you know if it was less effective on them? Isn't it more likely they are using the healthier due to precautious measures in case there is a bad reaction?

My daughter has been participating in the study...and I have to say...the biggest complaint is the 3 x a day...she is 13 and she is very compliant and proactive with her treatments and health. For us, our difficulty is trying to work the treatment in after school...with homework...with activities...with dinner...and allow enough time to get the evening's treatments done for her to be in bed on time...she grew out Pseudo in Dec...so during her "on" TOBI cycle...the time schedule is a real struggle...

During our last conversation with the our clinic's research coordinator, I mentioned the fact that all of her other daily treatments are twice per day...and even asked the question about whether the preliminary trials were only based on three per day...

and...FYI...we've seen a change...we are very pleased with the results...time struggle and all...: )

For those participating in trial... How long does the medicine take to run? I do so much HS every day, I bet the 3x a day may not be that big of a deal if it replaces the HS???
