The only time smokers really, really piss me off are the times I see them smoking directly outside a hospital.

I second that comment!!!

Recently my lungs have become sooo sensitive to cigarette smoke. I honestly think it is part allergy, part asthma, part irritant and my luck. But even the smelly aura of a smoker is enough to through me into a bad coughing fit, even if I can't smell them with my nose (bad sniffer). If one of my smoking coworkers walks by, my lungs revolt.

On a happy note, I made a <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://saltyandsweet.wordpress.com/2008/04/12/minor-setback/">salty and sweet post</a> a few weeks ago about how cigarette smoke affects me. A new acquaintance friend of mine read it and ended up in tears. He had NO idea that his actions affected me, or others. He quit smoking four years ago, and recently started up again. But because of my words, I inspired him to quit smoking for good!

I just hope he isn't the only one I have/will inspire! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
