thanks for all the replies. I feel like I've been asleep at the wheel for the last 15 years as far as educating myself about my disease. This seems to be the year I've picked to grow up and play an active part in managing it. There are so many really knowledgeable people here, and I can't tell you how much I value this resource.

i've cultured it for uhhhhh...i don't know how long. i don't think i've ever stopped culturing it since i started. i don't tolerate tobi and in the past i haven't been complient about following my gentimicin and colistin, but since having aj it's all changing so we will see!

ya i've got like 4 or 5 strains, some MDR some pan sensitive.

it's not fun by any means and it makes stupid things like colds turn into ridiculous lung infections.

but it's not [U} always a death sentence </u>.... my FEV1 is 98%.
