I still have the old Vest. About 2 years ago, when I switched insurance, I tried (with Aetna) to get a new Vest. I am not sure why, but Hill-Rom said to get the script written for an "upgrade" to the new model. Aetna wasn't the insurance co that paid for the first vest, so they were none the wiser to my vest situation. As you can imagine, Aetna rejected it, saying that it was just a "convenience". So, make sure that your docs don't write upgrade on the script! It's an easy out for the insurance company!
