Just wanted to give one more update before I try to go to sleep...yeah right! It's 10:30 WI time and the lungs are out of the donor and should be arriving to the hospital where Ricky is around 11:15. (I thought they were on their way hours ago, but I guess not...sorry). Anyway, the surgeons have been working on removing Ricky's lungs for about 3 1/2 hours now, so far everything is going well. Please continue to keep Ricky in your thoughts and prayers!

It is exactly 11:15 here in WI as I type this. I was about to turn off the computer when something made me come here to check for an update. Praying now for the safe arival of the lungs and a successful operation.

I'll check in in the morning!

What wonderful news! Will most definantely say some prayers for Ricky, the transport team and his surgeons. May God guide their hands for a successful surgery.


PS. Sometimes the times get pushed back and it's nerve wracking waiting for them to arrive. There's alot of coordination involved with the other procurement teams.
