it's not that they aren't done in Wisconsin, it all depends on your insurance. I know the top doc from Madison transferred to Loyola and Froedtert isn't listed as an "Institute of Excellence" at least through Aetna which is where I'm running into problems. Froedtert didn't have a coordinator for over a year, therfore, they didn't have any transplants. Now, they've had two double lung transplants within two weeks. So, as angry as I am that I can't stay here to get mine - I'm overjoyed for the two people who were lucky enough to be transplanted here and are doing well. I hope that helps to answer your question.
