How is it possible that you can't do anything the other hours of the day? What kind of pump do you have? Not one you can carry around easily?
The way I did it was really not confusing at all.

What are the problems you are experiencing now? Maybe there is a way I can help..

Good luck with everything!

I think it is more just getting used to everything than being a real problem so to say. I am trying to work out ways to cook, clean, do dishes and all that without my line getting in my way, and they put it in my dominant arm so it complicates things a little more. This is my first IV antibiotics ever and it is driving me a little crazy.
I am hoping it is just an adjustment thing.

I don't know how long the line is?
But if it's long enough is there a way that the line follows your arm up and comes out under your shirt?
I always put my shirt on without pulling the line through the sleeve so that the line doesn't come out your sleeve when you wear a shirt.
The line will come out around your waist and when you can wear the pump in a small bag around your waist you can put the rest of the line in the small bag and you won't notice a thing..

I do hope they didn't put the IV in your hand.. Cause that is really irritating...

I will see if I have a picture somewhere... of how I always had it. Noone noticed it, specially when they didn't know that the thing around my waist was an IVpump.
