How do you feel about people with colds coming to your house?

Everyone who knows me , knows not to come near me if they even think they have the sniffles. When i have a party i always write right on the invitation ....

I also inquire about whos at a party i am invited to and if everyone is perfectly healthy. Before i had cepacia ,i had no problems with any of this, now that i have cepacia i have to be more careful than ever, because i catch things much easier now than ever in my whole life.

We have made it very clear that colds and even sniffles are not welcome in our home. Ever since my boyfriend came over a few years ago with a little cold that ended up with me being admitted with one of the worst exhasterbastions I've ever had. After that, no colds. He doesn't even chance it when he has bad allergies. Right now we're also being more vigilant since I've been preparing for transplant.

We also call ahead and if people are sick at events, I make the decision to stay at home. SO, in short... I'm a slight germaphobe <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

every time i get a cold i end up on antibiotics. i don't let anyone over if i know they have a cold, not even family. it's just not worth it. visiting with someone a couple hours is not worth weeks of recovery and sickness for me. i love having people over, but not sick people!!!!!
