How many of you have never met another person with CF?

I'd also like to add that if you get a mask and at least 10 feet away from them it's just fine for you to meet and talk with them. I did a study with other CFers. We even exercised together (with masks on.) So next time you're sitting in the CF clinic waiting room, ask for a mask and then strike up a conversation by asking the other person in the room if they have CF. (You already know they do because of their clubbed fingers. ) I love to find out what type of breathing treatments they do and what meds they are on!

hi, im 27 from the chicago area (actaully northwest IN, but its considiered chicago area) and was diagnosed at 6 weeks old, and i still havent met or even talked with anyone who has CF. it sucks not having anyone who can relate with you. i would imagine as long as you wear a mask, that meeting another cf'er would be ok.
