I wasn't breastfed, am a DDF508, and didn't have a serious lung infection (except one bout of broncitis when I was 13, fixed with bactrim) until I was 16 years old, and caught pa in the hospital when I was in for my gallbladder surgery...I don't know how I'd fit in either, lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> . However, I am mostly pancreatic sufficent (take one enzyme with lunch and/or dinner, depending on what I am eating), so that probably plays a big part, too....

Was breastfed and so was my daughter. We're both very healthy.
My first hospitalization wasn't until I was 26 yrs old. Not bad for a 60's CF baby.

For the past 2 years, my sister has been doing research in a study on breastfeeding, more specifically it's a study on women from low-income families and why or why not they choose to breastfeed. Like you said, there are so many variables that come into play with this. My sister is extremely pro breastfeeding and there are so many benefits to it.

Anyway, she and I and my other sibs were not breastfed. My CF has been moderate most of my life, and I've got no allergies. But this particular sister (no CF) has terrible allergies. Go figure!
