Thank u all for replying. This shows me how much doctors think they know. I have never believed them telling me that. I know I wont live forever on Earth but I do know that I will live with my family in heaven when I pass on. Like I've heard many people say, live life to the fullest, no regrets, cause I did it my way. It's just that I was tired of hearing that, and I needed to let off a little steam. I said once it but I'll say it once more, Thank you all. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

My brother had a liver transplant when he was 8. He passed away a couple weeks after his 27th birthday. And by no fault of CF. If my brother wouldn't have had Von Hippel on top of his CF, I believe he would still be here today. He'd a been 30!! Up until the day he died, his liver numbers were that of a normal guy. He had an amazing transplant!! You know your sons situation better than I of course. But don't totally rule out a shortened life span, just because your son has liver disease.

kickin' it. I think we should get a vegas line and set some bets on the doctors and the cf patients, see who wins!

The last doc had the best answer to 'when will i die from CF.' He said something like.... we don't know. forcasting models for your type say you should have died, but you didn't, so do what you can to keep going.

So. Only the good die young, i'planning on forever!!!

So far so good..
