I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one thats had problems with the Pari ProNeb now Pari Vios, I thought it was just me . This isn't our first rodeo either , we've been doing this 26 years . Same here it last about 6 months and out of nowhere it stops pushing the meds . Insurance companies usually pay for a new one every 5 years ( I've worked customer service in a medical equipment company) but something used daily for long periods of time usually won't last 5 years (effectively that is ) So we have a perpectual warranty with a Pari ! I have a new one arriving today , 6 months ago I was sent the new and improved Vios . I go with what works the best and I believe our CF care center recommended Pari because it mists the meds better ? Would that be a correct statement ? Anyone else hear that ? We have a 3 month appointment next week and I intend to present this question to the CF doctor . We've used other brands in the past and as the meds improved I'm almost certain the doctor recommended Pari because it creates a finer mist . Nothing against Pari , but it must be costing them a fortune . Most DME companies ( durable medical equipment) have compressors for rent ( some medical conditions only require short time use) and most will sell you a used one you could use as a back-up . If your Pari goes out on a Friday morning , you may not get a replacement until Monday (if this happens request a next day Saturday , because UPS Next Day on a Friday means Monday)
