I'm glad it is working for you. Do you mind telling me where you found one for $250? We've been thinking of getting one for my husband (our insurance only covers this model if you have a CF diagnoses, so he is using the Vios).

Thanks!

Would people mind sharing where they ordered their mobilaire? In Australia there is no assistance for pumps in most states. The pari is the standard recconmendation however the company that owns the rights does not offer a very good warranty and you pay to send it back and the pump itself (pari turbo boh) is $400!!! I have had two now and they just slow right down. I am looking at buying a pump online and was considering the vios (also not available here) but it seems this doesnt solve the problem about slowing down. Maybe I will go the mobilaire? Thanks for your ideas<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I just hook a neb up to my portable oxygen tanks and run through the pretty quick, or I do all my Nebs in the cayston machine and that gets them all done pretty fast too.

<br>I am pretty sure I got mine from here <a title="compressor" href="<A HREF="http://www.medsupplyco.com/Mobilaire-50-Psi-Compressor-Invacare-Corporation-ZX-INVIRC607">http://www.medsupplyco.com/Mobilaire-50-Psi-Compressor-Invacare-Corporation-ZX-INVIRC607</A>" target="">compressor</a> My mom is the one who ordered it so I can't remember exactly I just know it was medsupplies.com or something like that and it was aroudn $275 instead of the $390 from the invacare site. One problem I had was they didnt send a filter with it at first, I had to call and get that sent afterward, but it was only like 3 days after I ordered it that I received it.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one thats had problems with the Pari ProNeb now Pari Vios, I thought it was just me . This isn't our first rodeo either , we've been doing this 26 years . Same here it last about 6 months and out of nowhere it stops pushing the meds . Insurance companies usually pay for a new one every 5 years ( I've worked customer service in a medical equipment company) but something used daily for long periods of time usually won't last 5 years (effectively that is ) So we have a perpectual warranty with a Pari ! I have a new one arriving today , 6 months ago I was sent the new and improved Vios . I go with what works the best and I believe our CF care center recommended Pari because it mists the meds better ? Would that be a correct statement ? Anyone else hear that ? We have a 3 month appointment next week and I intend to present this question to the CF doctor . We've used other brands in the past and as the meds improved I'm almost certain the doctor recommended Pari because it creates a finer mist . Nothing against Pari , but it must be costing them a fortune . Most DME companies ( durable medical equipment) have compressors for rent ( some medical conditions only require short time use) and most will sell you a used one you could use as a back-up . If your Pari goes out on a Friday morning , you may not get a replacement until Monday (if this happens request a next day Saturday , because UPS Next Day on a Friday means Monday)

How loud are these Mobilaire 50 PSI compressors? We would like to get a different compressor, because the treatment time is so long, and because our little "portable" Invacare Select is so loud. I am concerned about my hearing as well as my daughter's (and she's the CF patient)!

Thanks.
