I've always been an organ donar ever since I was young. Heck I even checked off the donate body to science. I checked that box off when I heard they paid for your cremation. I am cheap in that way. But I figure what do I care I will be dead anyway.

I am probably going to get flamed for this but personally I think if you aren't listed as a organ donator then you have opted out of the system and shouldn't be eligible for a transplant. I think they made this law in some countries.

There was talk here in Australia that everyone should uatomatically be organ donors and that you would need to OPT OUT to make sure your organs arn't taken. i think it was just a pipe dream but wouldn't it be fantastic it that became a law!

Of course there would be exceptions... there always is... but I love LOVE the idea that everyone is automatically a donor unless they opt out...
