I would not wait until Wednesday if your baby is turning blue while coughing to be seen. I am assuming your baby has CF; either way Blue and trouble breathing would require immediate attention. A trip to the Emergency room if you can not have the CF/pulmonlogist look at her. Is your baby currently sick or fighting an infection? I hope you are doing ok; I am a little surprised the clinic would not have you bring the baby in immediately.

I agree with Rebecca. I would not wait until Wednesday for her to be seen: if this happens again I would take her RIGHT in to the emergency room to be checked out. Even if it doesn't happen again, the fact that she's having intermittent trouble breathing/catching her breath and has turned blue once already leaves me uncomfortable with the thought of going so long before an appointment.

She is still so little, and young infants have much more trouble with infections than older ones and don't always present with something obvious like a high fever. If she has a respiratory infection, letting it 'ride' until Wed. sounds like a really dangerous idea. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0"> I would be doing cpt very frequently right now... does she have any inhaled meds yet?

I hope she is doing ok today... I'm so sorry this happened- I can imagine how scary this must have been!

I'm wondering if you do cpt regularly too. It sounds like there is an infection or something goin on here. This is definitely not normal. I'd take her in. Let us know how she is. ((((hugs))))
