I honestly think that for ME ( and I am not advocating underage drinking or anything like that) drinking is fine w. CF. Yes it dehydrates me a bit, but compared to smoking pot and cigarettes which i of course have done, it's no big deal. Plus, think of all those extra calories! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

IMO....no it is not fine. Not heavily drinking anyway and especially not for someone who is under age.
What most people don't know about CF is that it can attack your liver too. I have had maybe a whole 3 drinks in my life (and none of them were until I turned 21). I was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 14 and I am not the only CFer who has come across this issue. Needless to say, I had a liver transplant along with my lungs last year.
Not every CFer will get liver issues but why chance it with drinking too? I'm not saying that having one or two drinks here and there is bad....I'm saying like every weekend with your friends (or by yourself) and drinking so much that you don't remember the next day, what happened the night before is bad.
