I used to add oxyclean but it started to irritate Jaelyn's skin, I then switched to just adding a 1/4 cup of vinegar to each load. We just mesh everyone's together but seperate into the following: darks, colors, whites, towels and dish cloths!

But I could do better about changing out the bedsheets. I only do that once every two weeks. Drives Jeff crazy bc he is a pseudo clean freak, but then I just tell him he can do it if he is so worried about the germs. LOL. My grandma always sprayed her bed down with Lysol before she would go to sleep. As a child, I thought she was nuts but now I know why.

I seperate into 3 loads: cold, warm and hot according to wash directions on the items. The underwear mostly goes in the warm and hot loads.

Our washer does have a sanitize cycle but it is just really hot water, so that would only work for items that can be washed in hot.
