My grandmother tells me

That's what I got told today. She's praying and God is going to heal him. Heal him from the CF. Restore his liver to fully functioning. He's even going to be healed from his mental retardation and bipolar.

Yup, I'm supposed to plan for him to have an independent future without needing to live in my house because she has all kinds of people covering him in prayer and he's going to be completely normal soon.

Guess I can throw out all those meds and medical equipment now. I'll notify Make a Wish he won't qualify after all.

I love my grandmother, really I do. But, I cannot get through to her that she is NOT helpful with this stuff. Geesh, she's been sniffing those herbs in the hills of Thailand a bit too much, imo.

My husband and I confess that also for Grayson, we know she has CF and that there is no cure but we also believe that God has always been there for us through good and bad. I am not suggesting that God cannot use Doctors to have a cure come about. I pray daily for all suffering from CF. I know she didn't tell you that to upset you but to help in her own way. I don't want to offend anyone hear but I do have faith in God and I want any and all who want to join in prayer for the healing of all those children along with Grayson suffering through this awful disease. I am sure she loves you and feels that the only gift she can give you is to place your child in God's hands. Your grandmother is just doing what she believes confessing thur faith that your child will be healed. She loves you that much. WOW!
