I've used jelly, ketchup, baby food pears, bananas, chocolate syrup, pancake syrup... According to the literature from the clinic and CFF, you're actually supposed to use something acidic -- fruit and not dairy because the dairy will break down the enzymes faster. But since you're giving enyzmes right away, don't think it's an issue. Whatever you use, you just don't want the enzymes sitting in anything for too long or they'll break down.
Bascially I think it's a matter of slipping the enzymes in quickly and shoving the bottle in their mouths to wash the rest of the enzymes down. Giving newborns enzymes is a bit more tricky than toddlers 'cuz of that weird tongue thing they do <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
