oh sorry for the delay.. I just read this now.. I don't really have anything magical to say but wanted to say I would pray for him

Has he tried guided imagery ( spelled wrong I think) brain freeze.. Or Has he tried self talk.... or how about out and out bribary.. Is there something he really wants.. New cell phone .. game.. or something.. I don't usually support bribary.. but hey...

I have tried bribery, but the child has more money than I do, so he pretty much buys what he wants. LOL I have even resorted to guilting him into it. I tell him I worry so much, and could he please just humor me and do it so my mind will be at ease. We spoke again last night, and he didn't say absolutely not this time. Maybe by next month I'll have worn him down, and he'll give in. I'm pretty stubborn too. ;)

It's hard when they are old enough that they are adults. They have thier own minds and once they have it set, thats it.

Patti, Thanks. I have being trying to scare him into. He saw his doctor last year in July and said he needed it done. So, now for the last year I have been trying and now in the last 4 months he is have bowel movement problems. So, I keep telling him that there was a reason for the doctor telling him to get it done. I know something isn't right but he is stubborn. Will keep you posted.
