Pain

I was wondering if anyone else suffers from chronic elbow and joint pain? By eight o clock at night I can't stand it anymore and can't wait to go to bed. My body is shot. Sometimes Im in so much discomfort I could cry and would like to take a pain med . But I stay away from them for very good reasons. I use meditatiion, hypnosis, reiki and other hoslitic forms of healing but not every day. The discomfort is everday especially if Im not active at all during the day. The worst is elbow , it starts there and then works it way up the arms. I think it is from so much leaning to rest and breath. Anyway it would just be nice to know someone relate to it. It would also be fantastic if no one did. I als0 get bruises on the fronts of my thighs from leaning. I know it has something to do with be low weight but I have never heard anyone else talk about such discomfort.

Thanks for listening.

I've had chronic hip pain for years, and my docs have never been able to find a cause of it. I do have Osteopenia so my bones probably aren't the best to begin with. I do take pain meds when it's really bad, or keeps me from sleep. Sometimes my shoulders hurt, but I think its more from having so many PICCs and not so much my actual joints. Sorry I can't offer any help as to what to do, but I can certainly relate. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> It's frustrating to feel broken and achy on top of everything else.

I noticed that recently when I have edema my other joints will feel swollen and achy too - knees, ankles, shoulders, wrists, everything. It's not the same as my hip pain but it's still really annoying.

If you get bruises really easily, I think that might be some vitamin deficiency (vitamin K maybe?) but I can't recall for sure. More than a few times my body would start to get bruises from a stiff gust of wind, and my doc gave me some sort of vitamin and it went away.
