Thanks you all, still wondering is her getting it, make it easier for her to keep getting it?</end quote></div>

To tell you the truth, with DS, I always wondered if he actually cultured it at first or if things at the lab were mishandled. Or being that the only places he went at such a young age were home and the clinic, if he hadn't picked it up there.

When we stopped attended the local cf clinic appointments -- 4-6 hours of appointments -- he stopped culturing it. The reason we stopped attending the CF clnic and opted to just see the doctors at their peds office was because we had MAJOR concerns with their germ/infection control practices -- community waiting room, lack of handwashing between patients, rooms not being cleaned... Please note, I'm NOT promoting quitting the CF clinic, but to speak up. Still fries me that I'd have to REMIND the pulmo to wash his hands before he examined DS.

I was wondering the same thing if she got it from when she was admitted to the hospital on a floor, I had to keep asking if the washed there hands. (Her cf clinic is great about things like that).
Thanks for all your support it means alot.

You can drive yourself NUTS speculating on how she got it. The important thing is that your clinic is proactive in treating the PA. And just be vigilant (which I'm sure you are) when you're at the clinic and hospital.

A few years ago someone gave me a button, which said "please wash your hands and stethescope, too", which I pinned to DS's diaper bag on clinic days. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
