Even tho we think you are special Sonia.....I dont think they are doing this because they think you are LOL! I dont think its a good or bad sign....its just routine.

Its a stalling tactic IMHO. They are hoping you will throw up your hands & say forget it.....especially if you need to appeal.

That is so frustrating!!! I went through hell to get mine....even though i have crippling rheumatoid arthritis, cf, diabetes, and fibromyalgia. It all came down to my doctor's letter, and then i got it. It was a very stressful time, though, so i feel for you. Good luck, and i am sure you will eventually get it. Dont be too discouraged if they deny you at first. It is the game they play. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0">

Thanks, Mel... LOL!

With regard to the stalling... I think it would make people more likely to appeal if they'd waited so long just to be denied. Is that backward to the normal way of thinking though? I could have it all wrong.... LOL

Thanks, Laurie...

Yes, we're going to get a lawyer if they deny me. The fact is, I DO meet their criteria for CF. So, for them to deny me would be ridiculous... However, I guess its a likely outcome even if you meet the criteria.

I just don't like the fact that one person made a determination (possibly good?) and another set of eyes will now have a say in what the first person found. I guess its good if the first person found me NOT disabled though.... LOL.

I'm just freaking soooo stressed about this all! I've been waiting since May. Every single morning its the first thing I wonder... Will I get my letter today?
