Pulmozyme and bleeding....

During my bleeding troubleshooting not long ago, I went off pulmo for a week. I felt like the mucous in my chest turned into concrete. I was wheezing and overall felt worse, and was still having streaked bloody mucous. It could very well be the culprit in many peoples bleeding. The whole question comes down to weighing the pros and cons. If you have strong bleeds all the time when on it, i'd say get off it. If you have minor bleeds/streaking/blotches, but have a huge benefit from pulmo use, i'd say stay on it.

OK... Amy, can I remind you of recent posts where you were upsetting others by telling them that you were glad that they got a vest, but sorry they got a hillrom? How is that any different? Not trying to be mean, just my opinion.

Amen Jenn!

I am thankful for this post. I take pulmozyme, just started it back in November, and last month for the very first time in my life I had blood streaks in my sputum. This is now something I can bring up with my Dr to see if maybe that was the cause or not.

P.S. I was not panicked or scared when I saw this. I take good and bad info as just that, INFORMATION. I'm not gonna run out screaming holy sh*t I need to stop my pulmo cause I MAY bleed!!! We are all adults and we take everything that people post cautiously. So thank you Mandy for posting this!!!!!!!
