i just wouldn't insist that i be placed in the hospital if my doctor didn't request it. why couldn't you get on iv's for that instead of being hospitalized. there are so many things on this site that i just don't understand.

Everyone is different. Have you had home iv's? I, personally, need to go into the hospital. The risk of exposure is worth it for me. I need that jump start with no worries of cooking, cleaning, motherhood or wifehood (is that a word?). In addition to that the CPT is extremely aggressive at our clinic & there is no way I could get that anywhere else. Many people feel the way you do and that is fine for them, but its not so easy for some of us.
