Hi Nightwriter,

Yes, you are right on 4mls dose of 7% HTS via a PARI LC Star Nebulizer. Not sure on what kind of compressor he has but it's fairly new and I would assume, state of the art. Also, his Nebulizer has been used only a few times, so it's certainly not clogged..... Any ideas????

Thanks again!

Hi Stillgoing,

Yes, for one thing, we gave up Albuterol because it made Ryan too hyper. We now use Xopanex HFA and it takes two minutes to administer it. No nebulizer, but just a single shot that he breathes in and holds for 10 seconds. Then he exhales, wait 60 seconds, and then does it again. That's it! Then off to his 30 minutes with HTS :-(

So, I can't help with the HTS, but perhaps you should look into Xopanex instead of Albuterol????

sdelorenzo,

Thanks for the note. We have been staunchly opposed to video games, even to a point where he is restricted from them at friends houses. That said, we know he really wants to play them, so maybe a new system to be used ONLY during treatments would be an acceptable trade-off??? Thanks for your note!

Rebjane,

Thanks for the postive note! I also feel positive about HTS, cause I know it's helping him, but, I just feel terrible for the little guy given he now has an extra hour of therapy a day!

Booooooooo!

Thanks again for your note!
