I feel the same way. My husband and I are just so fed up with the BS they do. It's just not worth and they don't deserve to be in her life.

I feel the same way. My husband and I are just so fed up with the BS they do. It's just not worth and they don't deserve to be in her life.

We had similar issues with DH's family.... My MIL was so worried that if we KNEW somone was going to come to an event sick that we'd opt out, so she wouldn't tell us. It was like a big family secret, conspiracy. Like we wouldn't notice Aunt Gladys practially coughing up a lung or Cousin Joe wrapped up a blanket with the chills... We finally decided we would walk out the door if it happened again, especially when one person kept getting hosiptalized and on iv antibiotics due to an infection/abscess in the hip.

I can totally understand about this one. A couple of years ago, our daughter was only 12 months old and my aunty, uncle and cousins were visiting my mum and dad's house one Christmas. I took the kids round to visit and noticed that my aunty had a streaming cold. I was fuming! I said to my mum 'why didn't you mention to me she had a cold' and she replied 'I forgot'. Seconds later, we left the house. I was made to feel like a freak. Didn't speak to my mum for the rest of the day.
