Also, spontaneous mutation is extremely, extremely rare!!! Most of the genome doesn't even code for protiens also so it is more likely a mutation would occur in non-coding regions when they do occur. also it is normal for carriers to have elevated sweat chloride. Do you know if your daughter is a carrier or not?
