Kris, I got your PM and sent you a response.

Kelli, I'm still looking for the information, I KNOW I saw it somewhere.

I have some questions, can you PM or email the answers back (services@dafcf.org)
When did your SSDI benefits start?
When did you start working (month and year)?

When you were working before your raise in august 07, approx. how much were you earning each month?

After aug 07 raise, how much were you earning each month. Has this been consistent $$ up until now (each month)

I am on SSI right now, I know 2 different things but they have been "over paying" since I first started receiving benefits...so I owe them over 2 grand now...they arent taking away my checks or benefits but they are taking out a certain amount each month until I am payed off with them...even though I sent them my pay stubs, they "lost them" and now I have to pay them back..such bs but that is all I know

OK, I went to the SS office today. I found out (w/out having a real meeting... it's on 10-31). That I made too much for 5 months in 2007. Which I'm thinking would be ok, since I think you can make too much for 6 months or something. (I could be wrong w/that).

If I have to pay it back, it will be about $5K. And like JenDiS said, they will take a certain amt out of my check until it's paid off. (Like there will anything left of my check at that point!!!).

The good news, as many of you have confirmed, is that I won't lose my Medicare benefits (thank you Lord), I couldn't afford to pay for IV's w/our crappy insurance.

Thanks for all of your help. This is a real nightmare but all of you have shed some light for me and I really really (REALLY) appreciate your help!!

Did they give you a specific amount they are taking out of your check? when I got the full amount of $ a month it was 637 a month...but they are taking out 63.70 from each check so it still leaves me with enough to get by...I dont think they will take out alot of $ from ur checks but I could be wrong...

What I noticed is they are taking out 63.70 from my 637.00...its like 637 only 63.70...so many if you put a decimal point inbetween the first two numbers that will be how much they are taking out of yours??
