Tara: I am actually not working now! I worked as an account executive up until last Dec when my DH and I started to seriously think about pursuing fertility full time. With walking 3 miles a day, treatments, and resting we thought it best if I didn't work during this time and when we had kids not to work at all. my DH is an accountant for a law firm downtown Chicago and we are blessed that God has provided thus far.

Eliz: You are so lucky you are getting sore boobs. It is four days past my transfer and I am not feeling anything other than bloating now. I am beginging to think this may have not worked.. I keep looking at my embies first pics (they gave them to us the day of transfer) and want to cry..

Not having a good day,
Kelly

Update:

Day 5 past transfer:

Didn't sleep well last night. The PIO is starting to get to me I think. I am having an aching bumm. I guess one good sign if their is anything at all from it is that if I am not successful this cycle it will end on Weds. Here is to hoping that the next 8 weeks will be fill with PIO because I am pregnant.

Eliz: What day are you on? Any signs or symptoms yet?

Hey Kelly,

Hang in there! That's the only advice I have and I know it doesn't do much. You are pregnant girl, until your RE says otherwise. I'll be anxiously awaiting your post on Wednesday. Do you know if you get the results back the same day?

What about your results Elizab? Do you get the results the same day too? I remember having to wait a day or two because I let my insurance pay for the test, which meant it had to be sent to a different lab and it took longer. But I was too cheap to pay for the instant results. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I've been reading your posts as I am currently 37 weeks pregnant with baby conceived through IVF. We went through IVF with PGD as we have a two year old with CF.

I went through 3 rounds and finally they transferred two (hopefully) non CF embryos. I am pregnant with one liitle boy due in a few short weeks.

Just to reassure you that I did not feel pregnant with this one. I felt like I was getting my period and cried some days b/c I was sure it was coming- it never did. My boobs never got sore the way they did with my first. Also the day I did the two week blood test and found out I was pregnant, a urine test the same day came back negative. So don't rely on those. I wish you all the best of luck!

Day 6 Update:

Woke up this morning feeling crampy and now am having spotting!~ Not like a real period just spotting. Feeling defeated and been crying on and off! If it was implantation I would think that it would have happened on day 3 or 4 past tramsfer but this is a lil later than expected!~

I hate this

I just have to say, with all the PIO you're taking, period spotting is very unlikely. That amount of progesterone would likely stop a tanker truck of a period from showing up ontime and yours isn't due for another week. I'm going to bet it is implantation bleeding. I have to be optimistic! Honestly, some people bleed for months and baby is just fine. I'm still holding out hope for you.

Did you call the RE? I would! There's nothing they can do but reassure you at this point. It's too early to do a beta or an u/s. Even with twins, 8dp3dt my HCG level was only 17. So it's totally possible everything is normal. Another thought, are you doing progesterone suppositories? Sometimes they can irritate the cervix and cause bleeding too. Is it red or brown blood?
