"I know of many couples who do a Full Panel Amby Amplified test to reduce chances of a CF child. So I don't think my question was totally out of left field.... And even if this test is done, it doesn't mean there is a 0% chance of a CF child. So I'm just curious that's all. But I do realize it's a personal question and I totally respect her if she doesn't want to answer. "

I didn't think it was out of left field either. A lot of times insurence won't cover the Ambry unless there is a history of the disease. At least thats what happened to people close to me who've had children.
As for the question; I see that she did answer...
I figured she would but I was just trying to present one side or reason to the question.

I started watching it last night and couldn't handle all the "relational" drama (must everyone really be sleeping with everyone??) so I finished it up online this morning when I could fast forward to the "CF" parts. Then I quickly rushed over here to rant and rave about how they should have done more research and how they made it seem like they were going to die with in days... but you guys have already done it for me! Nice to know we're all on the same wavelength! And maybe we should be glad our lives aren't like Hollywood!

I didn't like how he just gave up his little boy. He said go get clothes from the house, like he was giving him up for adoption??? I could never choose between my kids.....Very unbelievable. Yeah u don't want him to get it, but u had to know the risks
