I know there are adults who indicated they're on pulmozyme twice a day.

BTW, DS has always been on atrovent and albuterol 3-4 times a day -- also called duoneb. I believe one of them is a longer acting bronchiodialator and one helps more with the small airways.

Briceton has been on Pulmozyme twice a day since he was about 4 months old! Now that he nebs HTS twice a day as well, we have cut back on the pulmozyme to once daily unless sick/inpatient, in which case we just up it back to twice daily.

Are you sure it is pulmozyme you do twice a day?? I thought it was once a day no matter what. But hey, I've been known to be wrong before.</end quote></div>

IF my old brain remembers right.....the initial studies &/or findings were based on twice daily usage for people with FEV over 70. Not sure if this included children tho.

In addition I also dont know why/where the change so many doctors made to have their patients use it once a day!
