WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT YOUR CLINIC?

We have started a parent advisory board to improve our clinic. I'm on it out of 8 other parents/patients. We meet every month for now & are hoping to improve to be on the top 10 of the "best clinics".

I believe Harford, Connecticut is #1. Our Cf team has been to different clinics all over the east coast this year. In the last year we have improved our FEV 1 & BMI! So we are excited about that!

We have about 85 patients that are seen at our clinic. I think 25 of them are adults. Some clinics have 100's of patients...that blew me away.

Our clinic has a bit over 200 patients the last I knew. It is made up of adults & peds. Some people like it seperated, but I find it beneficial. The peds & adult doctors cover for each other.

I remember my doctor talking about many of the clinics getting together for a pow wow to improve things. I bet that is what your clinic was doing.

Let me think about actual ideas for ya tho!

We don't wait long and CFers don't wait in the waiting room together, they'll bring you to a room, or even the room to view videos. There were many times I sat in a packed waiting room at Hasbro.

And CCMC prefers to se their patients every 2 months instead of three.
