What is the point of the CF nurse?

I'd take it all back to the pharmacy then and tell them that "via g tube" means that it has to be able to go down the tube, and to please correct their mistake. Talk to the head pharmacist if you have to, and take your husband and child (this is the patient...). It's their mistake. Good luck!

Just popping out for the day, but I will tell you about Craig's nurse when I have more time on my hands.
Would it be enough to say that she is a godsend to us.

I would be lost without my CF Nurse. ,,,

I hardly speak with the doctor directly unless its really complicated or I am really freaking out.

You have every right to expect the Nurse to be a liason & to raise a beef over the happenings.
</end quote>

This is exactly how my nurse is at my clinic... well, actually there are 2 nurses. They are both absolutely wonderful.

They have:
Scheduled appointments, blood draws, chest xrays for me.
Found other docs for me, including psychiatrists and orthopeds.
Gotten a pulsox covered by my insurance even when I'm not on O2 at home!
Been a liason to my doctor in keeping him up to date how my treatments are progressing, and also checking up on me.
Asking my doctor questions for me, or answering them directly.
Visted me in the hospital when I'm sick.

They are really good people, and they are good at their job... I'm sorry your nurse sucks, but those are the sorts of things she should be doing! Maybe you'll have better luck with email.
