What is your FEV1 Score?

87% in June 2011 (112% in February 2012)28yo female: I do not do any breathing treatments or take antibiotics regularly (now I do Cayston). I run quite a bit. Pilates and yoga (other exercise) helps to keep it stable or raise it. Weight training actually seems to help me feel the best.

Lecheval,

If you don't mind my asking, what did you do to bring them up so much? Or were you just sick earlier this year? I've been working to improve mine and I'm trying to find the best ways to do it.</end quote></div>

My hubby is 21 years old, 5 foot 6 inches, and weighs 134lbs. In case any of that helps.<div>He is not on oxygen and has yet to need to be, thank goodness. </div><div><br></div><div>The lowest his FEV1 % was in March 2009 when his lung function was 43% and his FEV1 litres was 2.16 and was hospitalized for the first time for 3 weeks and then on home IV for another 3 weeks. Ever since then his lung function has been pretty consistent in mid to high 50's. </div><div><br></div><div>In April 2011 his FEV1% was 51 and dropped 7% since the last appointment he had so hubby chose to go on sick leave for a few months to really focus on his health and at his last appointment June 2011 he had gained the 7% back and even gained more weight. We are so happy about that. He is really hoping to increase his litres a bit more before he goes back to work and I truly believe he will do it. Right now he is closest to the healthiest he has ever been. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I couldn't be more proud of him and his effort to always stay strong and get healthier. </div><div><br></div><div>P.S. I always post his most current appointment updates in my signature! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"></div>
