I have six nebs, and I only use each one once after I boil them. Immediately after each use, I wash my neb with dishsoap and let it air dry. Then, after I've used all six of them, I boil them all at once in a big pot with the lid on for 15 minutes, and I let them air dry in a dish rack that is used ONLY for boiled nebs. So i only have to boil them every 3 days, which is nice.

I wash them for both kids in the am. We have enough for the am/pm then the next am before they use them I wash and sanatize....However i use a GERM GUARDIAN instead of boiling and it works so well...our RT sd it was just as good as boiling. Its a dry heat and everything comes out so nice and clean! We were also told to use Dawn soap to wash w/.... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I boil them for about 10 minutes after each use. I put them in a pot & set the timer for 20 minutes. The timer is important as I have learned the hard way, don't want to overcook the neb cup soup!

FYI, the CFF says to boil them for 5 minutes.

We have enough neb cups, so I can wash and boil them once a day. Over my lunch hour I fill the sink with hot soapy water and wash the neb cups and then any dishes -- oral syringes, medicine cups, spoons that can't go in the dishwasher... While I'm doing that, I have a pot full of water set to boil on the stove. Once it comes to a rolling boil I add the neb cups and boil for 10 minutes. Remove them from the water, shake them out and set them on a paper towel.
