I usually boil them for 10 minutes every second use (so, every night for me). I don't remember how I settled on that number, though. I'm sure someone has a more confirmed answer.

I boil mine for 10 minutes too, but everytime. I have 9 nebulizers though, so when I'm not on inhaled antibiotics, I wash and boil nebs every other day.

I stick them all in a pot and leave on the stove for 20 min. So boil time is more like 10 min. I have a jetstream and two pronebs so I do it 1x per day; but, by doing that I actually have a sterilized neb each time cause I have 2. I do albuterol and HS in the same neb and my e-flow for AL is a whole other sterilizing saga that I will leave for another day<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
