who are you in a nut shell

Hi My name is Kori and no it's not short for Kortney nor Korin
Married to Richard who is 45 and has CF
Mother to Jacob age 11 and Calob almost 9. They are mine from a previous relationship so CF is not an issue.
I am the "bread winner" so to say of our family.
Richard is a stay at home dad and does an amazing job. I'm the luckiest person I know.
I work at University of Alabama in Birmingham aka UAB it also helps that my hubby comes here for clinic visits and for those long 14 day inpatient stays. So lunch hour has taken over a whole new meaning.
I love my job.
I am so girly sometimes it's scary
I love the color pink and am seriously addicted to purses and shoes.
I love me some Eddie Vedder and am a serious Pearl Jam fan.
I volunteer with the CF Foundation and Great Strides.
As well as working at UAB I also sell Tupperware and love it as well. Disabilty does not pay many of the bills as I'm sure some of you may know. Have to do whatever it takes.
I have 2 other children both of the four-legged variety Maxx and Gracie both Boston Terriers.
I tend to be sarcastic alot. Even when I'm trying not to.
I am orginally from Jacksonville Forida met hubby there but moved to Alabama with him because this is home to him and where he feels he receives the best medical care.
I am 27 and my 28th birthday is tomorrow 3-14. Yes that means Richard is 18 years older than me it's a little shocking at first I know but you get over it and move on. Age is just a number and love doesn't know it.
My favorite quote is by Saint Augustine ~ Faith is to believe what you can not see; the reward of this Faith is to see what you believe. ~ Amen.
Anyways I also tend to ramble on too much which I have obviously done here as well... so if you want or need to know anything else feel free to ask.
One last thing I tend to be brutally honest so if you really don't want to know the Truth then I'm probably not the person you should be asking.

Hi there all you new folks. It's great to have you. I love when we get new people. That means more points of view, and experiences to be shared. Jump in and give us your take on things.

Kori - I love me some Eddie Vedder too!! I have concert t-shirts that are so thread bare and worn, but I can't bring myself to throw them out. They are too indecent to wear in public, but I wear them around the house. LOL Also, my hubby says that I should come with a disclaimer that says if you don't really want to know, don't ask me. I am pretty blunt too, but hey, that leaves less room for misunderstanding.

I look forward to meeting you all.
